Paper Doll Fairies and Crepe Paper Dresses

Below are some examples of pieces we are learning to create in {Paper Doll • ology}. Although this tutorial is currently closed to new students at this time, new tutorials will be starting shortly. Below is my own fairy tale couture style dress made with a yummy butter yellow crepe paper.

Beautiful Bella Rosa Gets Her Wings

How does a fairy get her wings? I have often pondered that myself. I used to imagine that if I could just reach the end of the rainbow, that place where earth and sky meet in dreamlike splendor, there would be my treasure also.

Amy Sperry Faldet contributes this sweet and delicate contribution to our Doll No. 1. Thank you so much Amy, for this dreamlike peek into the land of fairy enchantment.

See additional photos in the TADS galleries or visit The Artful Paper Doll blog for full story and additional photos.

This tutorial is meant to be a step by step guide to helping you create your own original, fanciful, paper art doll. The outline for this class will be submitted to publishers as a book proposal. I hope to include a gallery section using works from students of this tutorial.
